On Saturday August 29th in Canaan, Connecticut, Pizza Farm brought together a diverse community for an afternoon centered around a celebration of what local food has to offer. Over a two-hour span, Pizza Farm cooked and served 300 pizzas topped with locally produced ingredients to a steady stream of over 300 people from the area. Because of the success of Pizza Farm, residents from the area are planning a farmers' market to take place in the same location.
